Program Schedule
Participants are expected to attend all 9 sessions, held on the third Thursday of the month starting in January. (There is no session in July.) In addition, there is a Team Building Retreat and a Tourism day. The program concludes with a graduation celebration.
Participants’ employers are expected to support the participant in this journey and allow them to attend all sessions. We encourage the employer and participant to touch base after each session to talk about the lessons learned. We also encourage the employer to attend graduation.
Program Fee
Tuition for Leadership Johnston is $1,750. This includes 9 months of instruction, materials, the team building retreat, and graduation. There is a $500 discount for participants from members of ANY Johnston County Chamber of Commerce. There are limited scholarships available. In addition, there are high impact sponsorship opportunities.

Leadership Johnston offers a comprehensive program designed to develop and inspire local leaders. To ensure that financial constraints do not limit participation, we provide scholarship opportunities to help cover program costs. The application for scholarships is now open, making this transformative experience accessible to all qualified candidates.
